All my friends are dead, read the book online, it’s short and sweet (just like life).

I haven’t had allot of time to post lately a)because I’ve been working too much and b)because when I’m not working I’m either sleeping or enjoying the gorgeous weather. That being said when I saw these drawings by London based illustrator Oren Haskins I had to share them. Great work.

Scott Campbell’s work is so good! I saw a few smaller sketches posted on another site and had to see more. Based out of San Fran he lists his occupation as “art director and concepts at double fine also comics and painting” I might add “also and awesome!”

The 3 pieces are titled (in order from top to bottom) “Picnic With The Draculas” , “Wolfmans On School Grounds”
and “Ultramans All Day and All Night”

Check more of his work out at scott-c.blogspot.com

Beautiful new work by Vancouver Island artist and illustrator Luke Ramsey of Islands Fold. I first saw Luke’s work a few years back at antisocial and I’ve been impressed ever since. Here’s one of new pieces for Pieces for ” What’s The Big Idea?” group show with Apak, Mike Perry, Martin Ontiveros, Jeremy Tinder and John Malta at Double Punch Gallery, San Francisco (June 12th- July 31st).

Luke’s eZine a selection of childhood drawings from age 7-12, awesome.

Saw another one of these videos posted on a friends wall (really cool and not just the animation), great way of delivering and expressing interesting ideas. Check out the rest on the RSA Animate Youtube channel.

It’s definitely been a while since I’ve had the time to work on a new design. Inspired by Sarah Silverman’s dad and my friend Alison
“i’d rather look schleppy than preppy” is a soon to be printed silk screen design. I’ve been wanting to take a refresher silk screening class at Blim and I think this will be my first duo tone print.

I went through a number of fonts (and photos of Jewish actresses) finally settling on Lubalin Graph (Demi Oblique)
& the stunning Audrey Hepburn.

Here’s just a sampling of Norway based designer, illustrator, and musician Robin Snasen Rengård’s work. He is also a co-owner of Bilo Books, an independent publisher specializing in limited edition books for visual arts. Great typography paired with unique illustrations definitely keep you wanting more.

Last weekend we took a trip down to Seattle and I picked up this great vintage advertisement for LU cookies at the Old Seattle Paperworks. If your down at Pike Place Market you should check them out, they have everything from vintage magazine covers and movie posters to old war propaganda prints.

Oh and another to do, Molly Moon’s Homemade Ice cream (honey lavender, theo chocolate or salted caramel) so good.
